Eisenberg Originals

Labeled Clothing

This fabulous suit is a wonderful example of a Circa 1950 dress with matching jacket.  It's wonderful to start off with something in color. The textured fabric is straight on the bodice and diagonal on the skirt. The piece has beautiful black velvet accents at waist and neckline.

The jacket is accented by a 1930s base metal Eisenberg Original bow.

This is a contributed piece.

Eisenberg Scarves

Sadly I only owned this amazing piece for a couple of days...it arrived with a lot of staining that wasn't mentioned before I purchased it. I was so excited as this cupid design was one I hadn't seen before. I have additional scarves, and one is shown in the book, and I'll get them photographed at some point. There is a wonderful story to these scarves that I'll post here soon. At least I was able to grab a few quick shots to immortalize the pattern before I immediately mailed it back.

I desperately want this ad - rumored to be from Vogue 1946 - if you have it please consider letting me add it to my collection.

NOTE - This is pretty much the last gasp for "847" as they shortly after release a new fragrance.

Colossal Scarf - Sharon and I both purchased this ad outside of a magazine and sadly I am left uncertain of its specific date at this time. Certainly it's mid-1940s. Absolutely love the brooch tucked in the hair.
